I saw this couple of days ago when I accompanied a friend at the bookstore. I have expressed that I’m a fan of Paulo Coelho so naturally, I was excited to see a new book out, Brida. It was just released last March 3rd according to Coelho’s blog. (Thanks Aart!)
I was sorely tempted to buy it since it just seems so apt to what I’m going through these days.
Coelho has a way of touching a chord in a person’s spirituality and humanity. Then letting it resonate towards your life and make you think long and hard of your own actions. That’s why I like his novels so much. There’s so much to discover and learn. If you are unfamiliar with his novels, the book The Alchemist is a good place to start.
I might succumb and just buy Brida the next time I go to my fave bookstore. Anyway, I haven’t used the gift certificate that was given to me for Christmas yet. Using it for Coelho’s book is a good way to spend it.
