I was pleasantly surprised that David Archuleta sang Robbie Williams’ “Angels“.

“Angels” is one of my favorite songs ever. I absolutely love it! :) The song has a really meaningful message.  I took notice of Robbie Williams just because of this song. I was actually surprised that Robbie Williams even have a song like this in his repertoire with his bad boy image and all.

As for David’s performance, I think it was alright. I love that he sang my favorite song but I prefer the original. Don’t get me wrong David Archuleta is adorable and a really good singer. But how well or how bad he did the song does little to the grand scheme of things. He would still be one of the two people whom I think will make it to the finals.
