Music

Just want to share some beautiful haunting piano pieces by David Nevue. In the playlist, it includes “The Vigil”, “4am by Candlelight”, “Be Thou My Vision”, “While the Trees Sleep”, and “The Gift”. Enjoy! :)

Just something to accompany you while you wind down for the day.

Just thought to share an Erika Luckett song today. :)

I came across this kid’s videos in youtube as per a friend’s recommendation. AND I was blown away by this kid’s talent. He is an amazing guitarist.

His name is SungHa Jung. He is 9 or 10 years old. (not sure about his exact age)

He has a lot of videos on youtube you can check out.

Here’s a couple of his videos wherein he plays “Come Together” and “Canon in D”

I was pleasantly surprised that David Archuleta sang Robbie Williams’Angels“.

Angels” is one of my favorite songs ever. I absolutely love it! :) The song has a really meaningful message.  I took notice of Robbie Williams just because of this song. I was actually surprised that Robbie Williams even have a song like this in his repertoire with his bad boy image and all.

As for David’s performance, I think it was alright. I love that he sang my favorite song but I prefer the original. Don’t get me wrong David Archuleta is adorable and a really good singer. But how well or how bad he did the song does little to the grand scheme of things. He would still be one of the two people whom I think will make it to the finals.

Here’s David rendition of the song “Angels” and I also posted Robbie Williams’ version below. Enjoy! :)

Just want to share the AnyMotion video starring korean popstars Lee Hyori and Eric of Shinhwa. At 7 minutes long this music video is more like a mini dance movie than a regular music video. Also, this video is my favorite from all of Samsung’s Anycall music videos.

The other Anycall videos are the AnyClub with Lee Hyori, Eric and Kwon Sang woo, the AnyStar with Lee Hyori and Lee Junki.  Then there was the AnyBand with a new group of korean popstars including BoA which I haven’t seen yet and the latest AnyDream in which Rain composes, choreographs and stars in. Try checking it all and see for yourself.

But now, I present to you AnyMotion.

This is my favorite among the remixed versions of Leigh Nash’s “My Idea of Heaven“.

Check it out! :)

KT Tunstall

Kate “KT” Tunstall (born 23 June 1975) is a BRIT Award winning, Grammy-nominated Scottish singer and songwriter. She broke into the public eye with a performance of her song “Black Horse and the Cherry Tree” on Later with Jools Holland. She has enjoyed commercial and critical success since, selling over four million albums and picking up three BRIT Awards and two Grammy nominations.

While her first name is Kate, she chose to go by KT as her first name, saying “[Kate] just makes me think of a buxom lass baking bread for her man working in the fields. I have no problem with that, but it’s just not really how I pictured being a rock star.” Also, Tunstall spells her first name KT (as opposed to Katie) to differentiate herself from singers with similar names. :P

To listen to her songs you can check her MySpace and her Official website: www.kttunstall.com  ;)
I also posted a video of her The Late Show with David Letterman performance for her song “Suddenly I See” on my vodpod or just click on the videos to share on the right column of my main page. And I also posted her latest video on an earlier post. Check it all out. :)

Just want to single out one of Leigh Nash’s songs “Between the Lines” from her solo album, Blue on Blue. Seems appropriate for me today. :)

I really liked Leigh Nash when she was still with Sixpence None The Richer.

Now, it’s lead singer, Leigh Nash, came out with her solo album, Blue on Blue, which I dearly love.

I was just checking other songs available on Sonific and I’m glad I bumped into this. I’ve been listening to it the past hour and just want to share it with the rest of you.

The description on Sonific says it all:

Nash’s croon possesses an unadorned glisten, a sensibility that is simultaneously natural and ethereal. Blue on Blue is not just a carefree jog through the present but a vividly felt exercise wholly informed by the past. In the end, it’s bliss.

Enjoy! :D

I’ve been hearing this song on Launchcast and I really like it’s catchy tune! :)

I’m a big fan of the duo Timbaland and Justin Timberlake especially after it spawned some of my favorite songs last year. So I was especially excited when I heard that they will be collaborating with the Madonna.

The first single “4 Minutes” from Madonna’s new album, Hard Candy, had mixed reviews. But you will either love it or hate it, for me, I love it!

Here’s a video for the song in youtube. It’s almost like the official video but of course it isn’t. It’s a great collage of Madonna’s, Justin’s and Timabaland’s respective videos. Enjoy! :D
