Random Stuffs

• A bunch of people enjoyed the Josh Groban Tribute Songs I shared yesterday. I’m glad to see that. So I decided to put a widget on the right column of the main page so it will be accessible for everyone. Hope you continue enjoying Josh Groban Tribute Band’s music!
• I was thinking of sharing updates during the production of G.I. Joe. So I looked and found out that they are shooting some scenes in Prague. But no photos during production. I will keep you updated on this once there are more info.
• Went grocery shopping today — can’t believe I spent a lot though. Stuffs I bought should last a month since it cost so damn much. My fave food are included of course - pasta, SPAM, tuna, clam chowder, chips and chocolates. Is that a good diet or what?!
• Been reading books but unfortunately its not any of my pending books. Just finished  The Devil Who Tamed Her by Johanna Lindsey and now staring to read The Wizard’s Daughter by Catherine Coulter. Thought I was over my romance novel phase but apparently I still need the occassional fix.

 

Relaxing Music

If you’re just planning to curl up with a good book on a comfortable couch today, as a good complement to that, I got the perfect thing

I love Josh Groban’s melodious tenor. I never get tired of hearing it especially when I just want to relax. But I got the next best thing though. I found out that there is a Josh Groban Tribute Band that plays his music through piano and strings only. That is what I brought to share with you today.

It is mostly piano and strings to serve as a soothing background music while you enjoy reading that book you never had the time to read (like me) or just stuffs that you need to do around your home.

A Day for Music (2)

While I posted that first A Day for Music post a couple of days back, I thought to feature another MySpace of an artist that I like so much, Rachael Yamagata.

Rachael Yamagata’s MySpace

I like her deep and raspy voice which makes listening to her songs so soothing. In case you don’t know her, she had her songs played in TV shows like One Tree Hill, Brothers & Sisters and The OC.  Her songs were also featured in the movies A Sisterhood of Traveling Pants, Prime, Elizabethtown starring Orlando Bloom and Kirsten Dunst, and The Last Kiss starring Zach Braff. She also contributed a song for Mandy Moore in the latter’s latest album Wild Hope. Rachael is also opening for Mandy Moore in the latter’s tour for her latest album. Also, she collaborated with artists like Jason Mraz, Rhett Miller, Ryan Adams and Ray LaMontagne. Hopefully those info helped, kindly check her MySpace and enjoy her songs.

I’m waiting for Rachael’s next album to come out which seems like forever now. There is a video preview for her upcoming album on her MySpace and on her official website. Check it if you are interested.
