It’s Earth Day!
With the dramatic climate changes recently, we all need to do our part in preserving what resources we have left and not further aggravating the terrible sickness our world is experiencing with this global warming. Our future depends on it.

I’m sure you have heard of the saying “An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth” which means there should be “a compensating measure of justice” for each wrong doing.
But I am not here to preach but more of sharing a bit of weird science.
The first paragraph is more on making sense to the title of the post and also to give understanding where it came from. So the title of this post is not a typo, I did mean it to be that way to give hint on the bit of news I read today.
Well in the article a blind man has restored his eyesight by means of his son’s tooth. Weird? Odd? Unbelievable? Yes. But true.
Here’s the article:
DUBLIN (AFP) - An Irishman blinded by an explosion two years ago has had his sight restored after doctors inserted his son’s tooth in his eye, he said on Wednesday.

HAPPY EASTER! :)
While growing up, I’ve always known that Easter Sunday is a religious event. The culmination of a week-long celebration. For a student, the best part was it’s a long weekend.

But I’ve also learned that other cultures celebrate Easter Sunday differently. In the US, Easter Sunday meant Easter bunnies, egg-decorating, egg-hunting in the garden and egg-shaped chocolates. Of course, there’s more meaning to it. But that’s what I remember most about it when I spent a few Easter Sundays in the US.

How about you? How will you be spending Easter Sunday?

Wouldn’t it be nice if we could just hang around like this all day?
Out with nature and breathing fresh air.
Instead of being stuck within four walls each day.

I stumbled upon this while browsing around. Its photos from an actual Home Inspection on various homes. It serves as a reminder if you need something done in your home — leave it to licensed professionals — and avoid do-it-yourself projects unless you absolutely 100% know what you’re doing. The photos on the link I will provide are true and some are absolutely horrendous. Here’s a sample photo:

It just made me cringe at the stupid things people do sometimes. How can one gamble your own life or that of your loved ones by being such a cheapskate?! Most of these pictures in the links below show a disaster waiting to happen may it be a fire hazard, electrocution, plumbing nightmares among other things. Tsk tsk.
Here are some of the links: Home Inspection Nightmares IX, Home Inspection Nightmare VII, Home Inspection Nightmare and the in-between segments can be found in the website’s gallery page.
