Well, it depends on which part of the world you are in. But better late than never, I usually say.

HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY! :)

I don’t give much stock on horoscopes. I always treat it as a fun read when I come across it when I buy my favorite magazines. But I was quite amused when I came across this while I was reading the page for the Cate article below (click on the source to go to the page I’m talking about). Not sure if it is a random coincidence that it displayed the horoscope for my sign, or there is some techie cookie involved.

The message seems so random but at the same time appropriate. Here’s a snag of the horoscope I’m referring to:

It just amused me and thought to share it. :)

Heard the saying that “the only certain thing in life is change”?

Well, changes are there to help us grow. It is hard to accept at times. So to deal with it we either take baby steps toward accepting the change or just take a big whopping leap of faith.

Hmm.

I have known and accepted that as truth. Change is the one thing constant in life. Baby steps will make little impact but it will eventually get you there. Now, a whopping leap of faith will take loads of guts but it is not for everyone. Which would be better?

Let’s reflect on a beautiful scenery.

This was taken at a particularly great day in Hawaii a few years ago in a parking lot. For real. I cut the photo to remove the cars. Amazing huh?

IT’S APRIL FOOL’S DAY!!!

What are you up to?

HAPPY EASTER! :)

While growing up, I’ve always known that Easter Sunday is a religious event. The culmination of a week-long celebration. For a student, the best part was it’s a long weekend. :)

Church

But I’ve also learned that other cultures celebrate Easter Sunday differently. In the US, Easter Sunday meant Easter bunnies, egg-decorating, egg-hunting in the garden and egg-shaped chocolates. Of course, there’s more meaning to it. But that’s what I remember most about it when I spent a few Easter Sundays in the US.

How about you? How will you be spending Easter Sunday?

  • Got new CDs the other day - Juno’s Movie Sountrack and Imago’s Blush. Been wanting to buy Juno’s soundtrack ever since I saw the movie a while back. Imago’s music is just wonderful. I might post one of Imago’s music another time. All in all, I’m lovin both of it!
  • Also finished watching Death Note. Light and L’s first match-up. You guys should check it out! Now I’m looking for Death Note: The Last Name online. Just heard that there is a 3rd movie from this franchise, L: Change the World, that was just released last month. Looking forward to seeing that one too.
  • In case, you’re wondering who that cute white rabbit-like cartoon is, that’s Mashimaro. Such an adorable one! Just seem perfect since Easter Sunday is just around the corner.

  • A bunch of people enjoyed the Josh Groban Tribute Songs I shared yesterday. I’m glad to see that. So I decided to put a widget on the right column of the main page so it will be accessible for everyone. Hope you continue enjoying Josh Groban Tribute Band’s music!
  • I was thinking of sharing updates during the production of G.I. Joe. So I looked and found out that they are shooting some scenes in Prague. But no photos during production. I will keep you updated on this once there are more info.
  • Went grocery shopping today — can’t believe I spent a lot though. Stuffs I bought should last a month since it cost so damn much. My fave food are included of course - pasta, SPAM, tuna, clam chowder, chips and chocolates. Is that a good diet or what?!
  • Been reading books but unfortunately its not any of my pending books. Just finished  The Devil Who Tamed Her by Johanna Lindsey and now staring to read The Wizard’s Daughter by Catherine Coulter. Thought I was over my romance novel phase but apparently I still need the occassional fix.

Just want to share something different today. Its about me.

Sunset
So pretty.

I have made a resolution that this will be the year to make changes with my life. I created a list of things that I will be accomplishing this year. Creating this blog was one of them, and another is switching jobs. I have always felt this desire that there is so much more that I can do with my life and my current job is not everything. There is an entire world out there to discover. I have for a couple of months now struggled with this life altering decision. But never really got around to following through with it and setting the date.

Since I thought that with my current job, I’m secure and I’m doing well for myself. But at the back of my mind, it doesn’t seem challenging enough for me. I’ve been doing this job for a long time now. It is now that I fully understood what the word “comfort zone” mean. I am in my comfort zone at this point in my career. That’s why I need to face new challenges. Amidst this personal turmoil, I haven’t been enjoying work as I used to since I thought I will be resigning soon to “look for greener pastures”.

But today was different, I had a surprisingly great day today. Spent part of the day reminiscing on the happy days at work (mostly during the time when I first started). Just felt good that I have achieved a lot since then and conversing with long time work friends. Also my team’s performance have been doing really well this week so it felt real good that my hard work is reaping its rewards.

I might continue feeling better or just decide to cut things off. Time will tell. I just needed to get this off my chest.

Hanging On
“I know I’m adorable.”

Wouldn’t it be nice if we could just hang around like this all day?

Out with nature and breathing fresh air.

Instead of being stuck within four walls each day.

* American Idol eliminates Jason Yeager, Robbie Carrico, Alaina Whitaker and Alexandrea Lushington. Now we are down to the Top 16! My faves are still in the running.

* My vote to Rachel Bilson’s new ‘do — “Lose it” — check out the proof of the fashion crime victim here.

* Wanna see the World’s Littlest Laptops? — looky here >> Switched

* Just want to share this photo of the Spice Girls with their kids. My favorite is lil’ Cruz Beckham, who stole the show by showing off his breakdancing talent.
