The American Idol is David...

Its official. The finals will be between David Archuleta and David Cook.

Syesha was voted off as predicted. The judges was not on her side last night. Her performance was decent but it lacks the pizzazz of the crowd favorites - the 2 Davids. So at this rate we can safely say that David is the winner! Which one? Well, my guess is as good as yours.

Me thinks that it will all boil down on how well they they do during Finals Night. ;)

Just a few thoughts ~ I may be biased but I HEART all the songs that David Cook sang despite some of the judges’ dislike. I was pleasantly surprised when he sang “I Dare You To Move”. I really love that song from Switchfoot, which I just remembered I first heard in the tear-jerker “A Walk to Remember“. <3 <3 Meanwhile, among the songs that David Archuleta sang, I’m torn between “With You” and “Longer”. I liked how well he sang the latter but I’m partial to Chris Brown’s song. ;)

Goodbye Syesha!

Hello to the Finalists! GO DAVID!!

I like them both so I will give them both my support. :D

Here’s another teaser for Gossip Girl’s season finale. Episode 18’s title is Much ‘I Do’ About Nothing. It will air on CW on May 19, 2008.

Check it out the scene with Lily and Rufus. A lot of drama. Can’t wait.

Another clip to chew on. ;)

Serena, Chuck, Blair and Nate

Ok. Just want to share my thoughts on this week’s eppie:

  • I totally love the dynamics of the relationship between Blair, Serena, Nate and Chuck. Imagine they would set aside their differences for Serena in times of need.
  • The scene between Nate and Chuck at the elevator and as they waited for Blair was priceless. :D i want to see more of these two!
  • It was hilarious when Blair prompted Chuck to share some misdeed like what she and Nate did to help Serena feel less awful. Then all he said was “I’m Chuck Bass”. Ha! I guess he had a long list of misdeeds that it can all be summed up with his name.
  • Blair is admirable in this episode. She is on full rescue-the-damsel-in-distress mode like a knight in shining armor. I absolutely like her devotion towards Serena ~ how she searched all night to look for Serena, how she connived to get the cooperation of Chuck and Nate to help Serena, AND how she faced up to Serena’s Mom and defended her best friend. This Blair is very different from the character that we were introduced to at the start of the season. Imagine how much her character has grown. She is not self-obsessed all the time after all.
  • But Blair is not yet done protecting Serena’s honor. She is yet to face the evil witch named Georgina.
  • I am not totally sold on the Vanessa and Nate relationship yet. The jury is still out with that one.
  • I really like the scene between Chuck and Blair when she just found out where Georgina is and she is about to tell Chuck the news. The sweet smile she gave Chuck and how much Chuck was suspicious of it. Funny and a little sweet. ;)
  • Then Chuck’s line afterwards “I say, lets get the bitch” was the icing on the cake.
  • Gossip Girl’s line after this scene is my favorite dialogue ~ “with friends like these who needs an army“. :) :) :)
  • Georgina is a devil-incarnate. She is a bona fide psycho and a pathalogical liar.
  • Dan is absolutely annoying! How can he so naive and STUPID to believe Georgina despite Vanessa’s warning. If a close friend of mine gave me a piece of advise, I would listen.
  • Lily and Rufus. Fabulous! This hook-up will cause more drama in the next season.
  • Dan lost a lot of points in this episode. He should be the one doing the defending and rescueing. Of course, how could he if he is left in the dark.
  • For the upcoming Blair-Georgina face off… GO TEAM BLAIR! :D

Gossip Girl Cast

Ok. So this episode is totally amazing.

Let me share what happened on this episode.

Gossip Girl Cast

Whoa! I say.

I can’t comment as much as I would like to now. I will post something tomorrow - more on my thoughts probably– depends. Right now, I’m tired from work and just need my beauty sleep. I stayed awake long enough to watch this episode. It was all worth it, though.

Watch it! If you haven’t yet, find it online.

I’m excited on this one. House always have amazing season finales.

Are any of you fans of Marissa Cooper from The O.C.? I just saw this fan-made video of Marissa and our very own Serena Van der Woodsen. Just thought to share since there is not much interesting in the grapevine today.

If you have to choose, which character do you like better: Marissa Cooper or Serena Van der Woodsen?

Me - I pick Serena just because I am a GG fan. But if we are to base it on the character it is hard. Yeah both girls have issues, especially now that Serena’s secret is being brought out in the open. But we know little of Serena as compared to Marissa whose story was already told on national TV. Meanwhile, there is still endless possibilities with Serena. So I stick to my first reason.

 Leighton Meester and Michelle Trachtenberg

Leighton and Michelle friends off-camera.

I have read a lot of spoilers about the final episodes and  I will share what I have found out with you.

Chuck and Blair TBC

This poster says it all.

I have slowly become a Blair and Chuck fan. And I just can’t seem to shake it off even if I wanted to. So I am so happy when I first saw this poster.

With a promised extra long season two to make up for the WGA strike this season, I am eagerly anticipating what may happen for this love-hate relationship. Of course, I am also interested to know what will they make of the rest of the Gossip Girl cast next season.

But first off, the last two episodes of GG, “Woman on the Verge” and “Much ‘I Do’ About Nothing“, will be equally mind-blowing. Just wait.

House M.D.

I know I have been missing out on my House dosage ever since the new episodes aired few weeks ago. I have been preoccupied with the GG mania. I will be making up on the missed episodes soon enough.

I know for sure though that the final two episodes will be great, as it usually is. Apparently, House got himself involved in some major vehicle collision. Amidst his own injuries and head trauma, he need to diagnose the fatal symptoms of another accident victim.

I miss the entire cast. I am also very amused with the tension between House, Wilson and Amber. I know it could only get better. Definitely a unique triangle. ;)
