GG Koolaid posted their Best and Worst for Season 2 so I came up with my own answers, just wanted to share. I only answered most of the questions. Here ya go:

Favorite Blair Outfit:  I love her outfits but her outfits on “Bonfire of the Vanity” were my favorites. The whole look with the polka dot dress when she first met Cyrus, Leighton looked absolutely stunning as Blair. Then the white ruffled top and short skirt for her bday, then that dress at the end when she was talking to Serena on the phone. Gorgeous!

Least Favorite Blair Outfit: I agree that her blue/green outfit in Yale was too much.

Favorite Other-female outfit: I wasnt looking at the other females outfit. None compares to Blair.

Least Favorite female outfit:  all the troll’s outfits. but that neon leggings takes the cake— gross like LD herself.

Favorite Male Outfit: I really liked Chuck’s green suit that matched Blair’s outfit in 2.01. That sparkly suit is also tops.

Least Favorite Male Outfit: Hated Rufus’ turtlenecks. It makes Matthew Settle look pudgy.

Favorite Fight: SB catfight. Chuck punching Jack.

Least Favorite Fight: CB on “New Haven Can Wait”… the reason behind it is so vague and random.

Favorite Blair Headband!: I like her headbands but I adore the headband she wore on the 2.25 final scene.

Least Favorite Blair Headband: “None. Blair is perfect.” I totally agree.

Favorite Parent Moment: B/E “Dont let him get away with it” scene. B/Cyrus hug at the end of “Bonfire…”.

Least Favorite Parent Moment: Harold dissapointed with Blair. Bart dissing the hockey game Chuck offered.

Best Friend Moment: S&B on 2×08 — they were adorable the entire episode. Dan&Blair giving advise on the same episode. I know they are not best friends per se, but I like their dynamics except the troll ruined it with her lies.

Worst Friend Moment: The troll lied to Dan about being “‘catnip”. Stupid wh*re.

Worst Fake-Boyfriend/Girlfriend: Lord Marcus. Aaron.

Best Fake Boyfriend/Girlfriend: Nate&Serena — I wanted it to be real!

Favorite Plot-Line of the Season: CB’s ILY storyline.

Least Favorite Plot-Line: Elle wh*re. Ment-wh*re. Troll-wh*re.

Favorite Episode: ALOT 2.01, 2.08, 2.13, 2.14, 2.15, 2.23 and 2.25. All the CB goodies.

Worst Episode: 2.20 HANDS DOWN. Hate it so much.

Scene that made you sob and rock in a corner: Chuck and Blair scene in 2.13, 2.14, 2.15

Scene that made you laugh until your stomach hurt:  The chaos that followed when Georgina showed up in 2.23. & the chaos during the play, Dan&Blair and the entire cast at the end of the play.

Favorite Quote: Blair’s love confession on 2.13.

Best Kiss:  All CB kisses.

Worst Kiss: the vomit inducing scene takes the cake.

Overall FAVORITE moment: When Blair hugged Chuck in her bedroom at the end of 2.13.

Just wanted to share the GREAT NEWS! FINALLY!

I know, I know… this is like almost a week too late. Better late than never, I say. (It would have been better if they didn’t drag it on too long and inserted stupid filler storylines to fill the gap)

I know that all I’ve been posting are Gossip Girl related.  Haven’t been interested in anything much to blog about. Maybe it will change since season 2 is over. Just looking around to see what else can interest me. I also realized that I haven’t blogged much about G.I. Joe. I’d probably get around to getting back to it only to share my thoughts when I see the movie in August.

But for now, indulge me to share with you what has made the worthlessness of the second half (well episode 16 until 24 really) of Gossip Girl’s season 2 bearable. But, Episode 20 is worth forgetting about. If you haven’t seen it, better SKIP it to save you the heartache and the urge to gouge your eyes out at the stupidity of the entire episode but most especially the vomit inducing unmentionable scene.

Ok. I am uber excited with this song. It’s catchy, upbeat and most of all it features Leighton Meester.

This is Cobra Starship’s new song. I’ve read somewhere that Gabe Saporta is such a GG fan that he was so excited to have collaborated with GG’s resident bitch, Blair Waldorf, portrayed by the beautiful Leighton Meester.

Another tidbit, the song was also co-written by American Idol judge, Kara DioGuardi.

Leighton has a surprisingly good voice. Previously, she also collaborated with Miami-based band Awesome New Republic with a remix of the band’s song ”Birthday“. The song was leaked by the band just a few days before the actress’s actual birthday (April 9th) last month.

Ok. I came across this in Zap2it and just thought I’d share.

Gossip Girl’s Taylor Momsen, who plays Jenny Humphrey, began touring with her band, Pretty Reckless. I watched the clips from the band’s first ever show in The Annex. I must say it’s hard to shake her as the young, conniving, queen-b-wannabe from the show. But she can pull of the rocker chic look, but then again I remember that the girl is only fifteen. I should be disturbed that she looks like someone in her 20s. She has a decent voice though. It might be just me, but I want you to decide.

Seriously, there is a reason why I love Dorota. The first clip just cements that fact.

Dorota was speaking in Polish on the last scene when she was talking to Chuck (his reaction is simply priceless!). Anyway, I’m not Polish but I got this translation in youtube from missreal90:

Understanding what Dorota is saying makes it 100x more hilarious.

Happy Valentine’s Day, Everyone!

I just want to appease my poor shipper’s heart by posting this pic. The web is inundated with the latest Blair and Nate kiss photos, and I just want to remind myself why I rooted for Blair and Chuck in the first place.

Hahaha this is the first thing that came to my mind when I was thinking of making a Valentine’s Day post. The other being a post with all my favorite TV couples but I didn’t have time for that. So, I settled with the couple I am most rooting for at this moment.

I just needed to get this out of my chest. And share my thoughts on the latest episode of Gossip Girl. For those who haven’t seen it yet, beware there may be spoilers ahead.

Alright, now that I got that out of the way…

I actually liked this episode. Let me share the stuffs that I loved:

* Dorota, Harold and Roman rooting for Blair

* Blair and Chuck scheming again. (although not together)

* Blair with the minions (especially love the angel/devil scene with Iz and Penelope)

* Chuck and his plans to take down his uncle. (some were hilarious– anthrax, plane, freshman party –because it was bordering on ridiculous)

* Serena and Dan scenes. (I seriously believed that they have grown up)

* “Death By Dorota” – Dan’s line seriously cracked me up!

* Dorota (just love her! She’s adorable.)

* the bulldog named Handsome. lol

Overall, I loved the flow of the story. Seemed natural and not disjointed like what I felt with some of the previous episodes (example episodes 211 and 210). I really liked how it felt like a Season 1 pre-strike episode which I missed so much. I wish the next episodes will be like this. I actually didnt mind that the only Chuck and Blair scene was like a few seconds (it was hilarious, after I got over my disappoinment). If there are more episodes like this, I will be an even bigger fan if that’s possible.

I am not yet sold on the Lily and Rufus affair just because of the Dan and Serena awkwardness. And also, can’t get over the fact that Bart is dead a month and Lily is now out with another man. In real life, people will talk negatively about Lily and Rufus.

Honestly, I am all for what Chuck said to Lily “If you want to help me…you wouldnt parade your mistress in public. You’d have some tact, some respect. You think only of yourself. Your kids and my dead father are proof of that.” Bravo. Lily needed to hear that from Chuck of all people. And what I think of Lily are along those same lines.

So I don’t buy that Chuck would be accepting of Rufus so soon even if Lily helped him. But we shall see. I am so not shipping Lily and Rufus right now or anytime in the near future. That’s why I couldn’t care less about the spinoff.

Another event is Jack Bass is gone. Along with the secret of NYE. So if this secret will not be revealed in black and white I’d totally hate it. I hate assuming but I just want to know that whatever it is doesnt mean anything and its not sexual in nature. That’s all.  I don’t want anything coming between Chuck and Blair (as if, there isn’t enough).

Now for the teacher, Rachel Carr. I don’t like her. I admire Blair for owning up to her mistake but the teacher was just petty and immature. I’m not saying Blair is an angel but the teacher is not innocent either. I just can’t wait for Blair to teach her a lesson not to mess with the Queen B. Looking forward to another B smackdown. lol

Lastly, I’m majorly looking forward only only on 2 things for the next episodes. Those are : (1) Blair taking down the teacher, and (2) the school play!!!

Happy New Year!

I only have one resolution for this year. That is to do all the things that I have failed to do in the past year. But mostly to have the courage to actually go through with it.

It is weird why we all end up making plans but not actually following through with some (most) of it. Procrastination is my biggest weakness. That is what I have to deal with including passivity. Ugh.

Let’s ring in the new year! Wish all of us can have the strength and courage to push through with what will make us become better people. Also the determination to achieve our biggest dreams. That is all that matters anyway. It is not the amount of money and junk we have accumulated. But it is what we have done to better ourselves and how much we have contributed to the better good of the community. And how much closer we come to the fulfilment of our dreams.

I know I haven’t posted in a long while. Hopefully I could back to it on a regular basis soon. For the meantime, I want to share this great video from youtube.
